The Everything pizza is the best I've had anywhere! It's loaded with tons of delicious ingredients (hold the sweet peppers) and every time I get one I'm amazed at how good it is, even leftover and rewarmed the next day. Try it - you won't be sorry. We generally get the pizza to go but the dine in menu is also very good and the service is friendly and prompt. P.s. This review was written by Katie's dad who is a meat lover. Katie is not a meat lover and would not feel the same about the Everything pizza as I do. Somehow her yelp ID is tied to my iPhone.

I will let the screen shots of what I had to say do the talking. I can't say the food is bad... but the service it's self and the owners are lacking in luster. The photos I post will give a better reason for my review and what has given me such a bad idea on this place. I am sorry to anyone who enjoys here and knows these people but it seems none of us knew them that well.

Pizza is average and bland, the crust is just tough bread, and the price is not worth it. Domino's is definitely better overall and can be had for cheaper with coupons.

I'm gonna give this place 4 stars based on the friendliness and speed of the service. As soon as we sat down, the waitress was there to hand us a menu and a few minutes later, take our order. We got there right at the end of the breakfast period so we got the breakfast menu. The food was ok but I got the feeling the potatoes had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile and the toast was very stiff. Still, the food hit the spot (we had been on the road for 2 and half hours) and the waitress was perfect in every way. I suspect lunch and dinner are better. I'll probably be back to check it out then.

Eh... it's okay. I grew up in the NJ/NY area and am still struggling to find a pizza that lives up to the pizza I have come to know and love from my childhood. DeNovo's is okay - not bad, not awesome. The salad I got, however, was exceptional!...the best I've gotten from a pizza chain. The search for my perfect Eastern Shore pizza continues...

Amazing!!!! Called for pick up on my way into town, arrived to a hot, most delicious pizzas I have ever ordered!!! They were ready when we got there too. My family frequents this place multiple times a week, now I know why!

The food is freshly prepared and delicious. Their pizza is the best. Tuesday is burger night and they are really good. Best 5.00 burger anywhere!! Try them once and you'll be hooked!! They have daily specials and drink specials. The bar is a good place to go after work. They have a full bar and also tables so you can choose. It's a great friendly place to eat and meet friends after work. If your hungry in the morning, they have great breakfast!!

We frequent DeNovo's every time we are in the Ocean Pines area. From dine in to take out this is absolutely the best place in that area.

Very good food and friendly service. Always consistent. Whether done in or carry out, pizza salads, sandwiches, daily specials or even breakfast...everything is always very good.

I love DeNovos! It is a safe bet restaurant. It is a familiar, family friendly atmosphere. The pizza sauce is perfect and they have daily specials. They can be inconsistent, especially with carry out. But they are responsive if you bring it to their attention. If the owner is in, everything is perfect. Love the music on Saturday night!

Surly service, decent food...who could ask for more? Called in an order for takeout and although they took awhile to get everything down, I would at least say that the thoroughness ensured we received the proper order. We feasted on a salad, a Turkey Club, Chicken Parm sub, fries, jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks. Salad was good. Sandwiches were both good. Fries were so-so. I liked the poppers and the mozz sticks were good but when we got back to the place and opened the bag....no marinara sauce! How am I supposed to eat mozz sticks with no marinara sauce???? I am not some kind of monster raised in a cave, for heaven's sake! The cashier could only have been more disinterested if a swordfish was attacking her from behind, but I was able to pay and get in and out quickly, so whatever. I can sum this up by quoting many former dates of mine: "It wasn't awful but I wouldn't run back for it"

Pizza and Greek salad are great! We come to Ocean Pines every summer, and make it a point of dining here. The chicken parmesean dinner is also very good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like a casual family-friendly dining experience without having to go to the boardwalk and deal with the crowds.

There aren't many options for dining in Ocean Pines. We went here because we didn't feel like driving into OC. I had the veggie pizza and I liked it a lot. My husband had the veal parmesan. He rated it as about a C+. Service was good.

Great pizza, subs, plattered meals and soups! The service on the take outside is very slow but inside is mostly efficient. A family favorite and local tradition!

Cheese Steak Pizza is a must! Top 5 favorite foods of my life. I've driven from New York 5 times this year just to get Denovo's Cheese Steak Pizza. Living in a city that is supposedly the land of great pizza, I am surprised that I cannot find anything remotely close to Denovo's. I was just in town last weekend, and of course stopped in for my cheese steak pizza fix. Sat at the bar and was entertained by one of the staff members Kacey. Staff is extremely friendly, Kacey made an effort to chat with me as I was dining alone. From the other guest interactions with the staff, I could tell that customers seem very welcome and personal with the staff, as if the restaurant were one big set for the TV show Cheers. I saw a sign on the bar asking for feedback, so I texted the number provided and was immediately responded to by the owner herself! This place obviously cares about its customers and it's no surprise why everyone I saw in the restaurant last weekend seemed like they were repeat customers. If Denovo's delivered pizza on dry ice, I would order it weekly for my family in NYC.

Service is exemplary. Food prep and quality extremely good. Some of the best pizza I've had in more than 3 decades having just moved back from So Cal. Highly recommend unless that means I will have to start waiting for service! :)

Like the steak, pizza, some salads, (The brown lettuce shouldn't be there, more than a few times). Lunch special are great. Take out is slow so order early. Wish there was delivery. The music is why we don't go more. Painful. But the comparison to Whiskers is way off. Obviously has never peeked in the kitchen, bathing optional there.

my family and I went here for dinner one night and overall I would say it was a pleasant experience. Our waitress was very friendly, but a bit slow. Our food seemed to take longer than expected to come out, so I don't know what was going on there. I ordered the antipasti salad and I really liked it. The salad was really big and they didn't skimp on any of the vegetables or other toppings. My mom got the eggplant Parmesan, which was okay. The pasta they use doesn't taste right to me- its very cheap and unappetizing, but the eggplant itself was pretty good (mine's better :p). My dad got the spaghetti and meatballs, and same story the meatballs were good but the spaghetti didn't taste very good. the bread they brought out in the beginning was awesome! I could have just eaten that for dinner and been happy. I feel like my roommates and I make tastier meals than what we got here Also, unfortunately they are a Pepsi product restaurant :( but if you like Pepsi then that's good for you, but I'm a diet coke kinda girl. I would definitely like to go back and try some of the other dishes, just to see if anything is better than what we got

Stopped in for dinner on Saturday. Really convenient location if you're in the Pines. Waitress was very pleasant, service was good and the food was excellent. I ordered half rack of ribs. Waitress asked if I'd like to double that to a full rack for only $4 more. I did and boy what a meal ! Great ribs and generous helping. We will be back many more times. Give them a try !

We come here on a regular basis and the food is good at a good price. This am the service was horrible. It is not normally bad but I am summing this up to the lady was having an off day but it was very disappointing. I will come here again and just try to avoid the bad server...

  • Raymond M.

The food and service were excellent. We had the fried shrimp special and the broiled scallops. They were both well cooked and great tasting. My husband had the tomato based clam soup. It was just average. I had the French onion soup and it was excellent. We had read reviews on their poor service, but were happy to say the service was excellent. The server and helper were both friendly and attentive.

  • Evan L.

Been coming here occasionally over the past nine months. Really, what the hell was a I thinking?! The service here is abominable more than half of the time. There are two kinds of servers here: (1) friendly and efficient and (2) the kind that don't understand or care that the customer pays for them to gabber with their coworkers. When the service is good, this place is fun. When it's not, it's just plain awful. The food at Whisker's is consistently better and more affordable and the service is at least reliably mediocre as opposed to waffling between good and suck. Go to Whisker's instead.

  • B L.

Just visited this place on 8/10/12. Our server was possibly the worst waitress I have ever had at a restuarant. When we were ordering she was running away from our table to talk to other people. We thought she didn't even hear our order. True to form, she completely forgot to enter one of our party's order so the rest of us had food and he did not. She came over and made some lame ass excuse saying that they didn't have that meal anymore and the kitchen never told her. Unforgivable. If you sit down at this place and a waitress with a crappy attitude and red sneakers pulls up to your table, leave immediately. You will not enjoy your meal.

nice casual restaurant and bar. mostly "grey" clientele...went with my dad who lives down in the pines. good food, nice wait staff, ok pizza...would like to see more generous serving of toppings on pizza. my favorite nights to be there are when the entertainment is there... fun barry manilow and frank sinatra sounding singer for your eating pleasure! my family has also ordered pizza for take out from there.

The best pizza outside of NYC! Wonderful salads. House salad dressing is out of this world. My fav is the egg plant parm. Fab portion size- enough for tomorrow!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
